Kevin Gerald Bray is an American film, television, commercial and music video director and producer. Bray attended the University of Michigan and the Sorbonne before completing his studies at New York University Film School. Bray also goes by his initials, KGB.
Kevin Bray is the director of 2008's Linewatch starring Cuba Gooding, Jr., the 2004 remake of Walking Tall starring The Rock, and All About the Benjamins starring Ice Cube, Mike Epps and Eva Mendes in 2002.
In television, Bray directed episodes of White Collar, Burn Notice,The Bernie Mac Show, CSI: NY, Cold Case, In Justice, Barbershop, Veronica Mars and The Vampire Diaries. In addition, he executive produced and directed the short lived, but acclaimed urban music drama series, Platinum for UPN.
In commercials, he directed spots for USA Network, Nike, Puma, Verizon, and the Florida Lottery.
One of the most prolific music video directors, Bray has directed over 100 clips for some of the biggest names in the industry, including Jennifer Lopez (No Me Ames), Brandy, Christina Aguilera, Lauryn Hill, De La Soul, Whitney Houston and most recently the duet between Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat Lucky. He has collected numerous awards from the MVPA, MTV, and the Billboard Award.
Bray has most recently been seen in R&B superstar Ashanti's music video, "The Way That I Love You". Bray cast the role of the cheating boyfriend of Ashanti to actor Christian Keyes, where she later gets revenge and kills him.
Kevin is the brother of Stephen Bray, Madonna's former producer, songwriter and drummer (wrote and produced songs like "Into the Groove," "Where's the Party," "Express Yourself" and "True Blue.")
